Tonya Couch was released from jail today.
Tonya was arrested on December 28th after fleeing with her 18-year-old son, Ethan, to Mexico. Ethan had just violated his probation.
Ethan was originally arrested after killing 4 people and injuring several others while driving drunk. He was only given probation (no real jail time) after his lawyer used an "affluenza" defense. Basically meaning he was too rich to know any better. Imagine that.
Maybe his mother will use the same defense.
