There is at least one advantage to a McDonald's diet. It's not going bad anytime soon.
Jennifer Lovdahl purchased a McDonald's Happy Meal six years ago. It has been sitting around her office ever since (the past SIX years)...not spoiling.
Lovdahl completed this little experiment to show her patients just how horrible fast food is for you.
She posted the following on her Facebook page (along with a photo of the six year old meal and its receipt from January 8th, 2010), "It's been sitting at our office this whole time and has not rotted, molded, or decomposed at all!! It smells only of cardboard."
Hmmmm.
A statement from McDonald's claims that a lack of moisture in the air is the reason the food hasn't decomposed. They promise that under the right conditions, the food would absolutely break down.
Who's ready for a midnight snack?
